16 oz can into a pint glass. Mostly opaque reddish-tinged dark brown color with a solidly dense one-and-a-half fingers of tan-colored head. Dark roasted malt aroma predominates, only a very faint hint of the smokiness advertised on the can. Dark roasted malt, brown sugar, mild bitterness, and again only very faint smoky flavor. Medium feel.
