Despite whatever other reviews may have said, this was an excellent, malty, caramelish, and lightly chocolatey example of the Munich style. It poured a clear deep-chestnut body with ruby highlights beneath a creamy head of tan that held well and left very nice lacing about the glass. The nose was malty and caramelish with a mild note of cocooa as well. In the mouth it was medium-full bodied and gently crisp. Overall, it was flavorful and exciting, as well as drinkable.

This beer was served to me ice cold. I should have drank it fast while it was still cold. Warmth is this brew's enemy. This beer has a brown, muddy colour. It looks like the muck on my boots. Small head that disipated within seconds and left no lace. Even when I swirl to try and get some foam, only a little carbonation bubbles appear. Wet barley malt smell. A little too sweet on the nose. Almost cloying. Very syrupy sweet taste. Artifical tasting, swwet sugar, cheap sweet and sour candy taste. I didn't like it, but drank it anyway. I don't want to appear ungrateful for the offering. The thick, syrupy mouthfeel and overly sweet taste makes this pretty much undrinkable.
