Poured from tap into teku, good 2 finger tan head soso retention great lacing. Jet black in the glass. Very complex smell on this, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, something else (cheated bartender checked the label on a bottle, Sherry chips were added while aging). Predominately chocolate and vanilla on the palate, this is a super creamy beer, addition of oatmeal really paid off. The Sherry tartness comes on the finish, you are left with mild coffe/chocolate bitterness on the finish. Great Stout, exceptional mouthfeel.
