Poured from a bomber bottle into a pitcher, and from there into pint glasses. Incredibly foamy, but that subsides quickly. Honey colored, cloudy like a wheat beer. Slight floral aroma - my wife says it "smells like rice". Malty and astringent. Slightly creamy-smooth mouthfeel, with a significant tang in the finish. More character than most cream ales I've had, but I don't get the "caramel" thing at all. Well, I take that back - there's a little caramel flavor in the finish. I agree with another reviewer who says it may refer to the color instead of the flavor. I'd try this again.

Initial frothy head. Dryness and cream and sweetness blended together. Very astringent aftertaste. Carmel, corn and malt. Not too carbonated is a plus, some hop there. Doesn't make it withou the ice cream float.Bomber that could not be half finished

This and the IPA just arrived in the big smoke so I am happy to report that this a darn good beer.Dark to mid gold colour with a luxuriant head, this beer has English hop nose with a a pleasant caramel backdrop. The taste is reasonably hoppy with a ESB profile instead of the tasteless milds traisped around as cream ales. Finishes strong with lots of malt in the midground. A very nice beer but they should lose the Cheeto cheetah on the label.

My first experience with this brewery, and the only beer of theirs I've seen.

Pours a pale gold with a big fluffy white head. Looks okay....

"Caramel" cream ale? I can smell traces of caramel, but in taste it is akin to a standard cream ale. Malts, with a bit of hops. Good balance. The lack of caramel can be expected, I suppose, as caramel is not listed in the ingredients. Okay, maybe there is a slight bit of caramel in there, detectable as it warms up.

The name apparently derives from the colour...odd naming, as usually "caramel" would be used to describe a flavour....

This seems to be a bit sweeter than a standard cream ale. The taste is quite good, but not outstanding. As with most decent cream ales, this is easy to drink and would make a good session beer, despite being in a 650ml bottle.

I'd gladly pick this up again, and would happily try other beers from this brewer.
