This was in a fridge for about a year. This looks like their regular Porter but the nose is more subdued. The first taste is vinous with some metallic tastes. Smooth body with chocolate notes now in the background. The age and the bottle conditioning have rounded out this porter compared with the more in your face Pompadour. I like this beer but feel it lacks the real complexity needed in a bigger porter.
