Draft: Poured a clear dark color ale with a medium size brown foamy head with light retention. Aroma of citrus and light pine hops with light roasted malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some citrus notes with pine and some light roasted malt. Body is a bit light with good carbonation. Nice hop punch but malt presence is a bit off.

From tap at the tent, Mondial de la Biere 2007 in Montreal, L'Alchimistes Biere du Mondial!
Pours a clear red/brown, huge thick tan head forms, nice lacing, great retention, looks nice. Smell is great, dry roasty grains, caramel, floral and citrus hops, piney dry hops, grapefruit, nice. Taste is roasty, some chocolate, floral/citrus, caramel, bit of alcohol, grainy grapefruit, clean bitter finish. Mouthfeel is meidum bodied with medium carbonation, very nice beer, far better than any of their other offerings. If only this was year round!
