Opaque black. Light creamy brown 3-4 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with poor legs and not much swirl reaction. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, raisins, prunes, liquorice, vanilla, berries, dark grains and herbal hops. Oily medium body with a light crisp. Medium strength finish, the roasted cappuccino is the real highlight, earthy and a bit chalky/dry. Too thin and dull, lack the smoothness and creaminess compared to other oatmeal stouts. Good balance though, the freshness is alright. Nothing amazing, just a real nice coffee feel. Overall good quality craft.

Pitch black with a fast disappearing head. Intense dark chocolate smell with some espresso too. Nice chocolate taste but it's almost like a milk chocolate because it's really sweet. It's a little bit too sweet but it's really easy to drink.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a medium brown color head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of cacao and light roasted malt notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is a good mix between some cacao notes with light dry roasted malt. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well brewed for style with just enough complexity.
