There isn't much going on with this brew. Pours an almost clear amber with very little head. Doesn't present much in the way of scent and the taste follows that with very little complexity. Very thin body, almost watery, with minimal malt presence.

Regular red ale. Good taste but nothing exceptional.

This has a nice copper color with a small, coarse head that dissipates quickly.

The aroma is subdued, but slightly floral and not unappealling.

There is a very light bitterness that is somewhat offset by a sour flavor. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin. I was able to drink it.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass

Appearance -The beer pours a murky brown/orange colour with a tiny fizzy white head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing, and there is some very faint lacing. The head only lasted for a minute or two before it was gone.

Smell - wheat, roasted malts, brown sugar

Taste & Mouth - There is a fair amount of carbonation, first taste is a kind of sweet brown sugar mixed with apple juice. I can also taste roasted malts and wheat. The beer finishes with a bitter apple cider like aftertaste.

Drink - I wouldn't buy this beer again.

This beer has a reddish-copper color and a huge white foam initially and slowly declining thereafter. The nose has aromas of roasted malt, caramel malt, hops, toffee, red apples and fruitcake. In the mouth the body is medium-thin with low-medium carbonation. Some flavors of roasted beans, caramelized grain, hops flower, clover and roasted hazelnuts.

Beer is amber color and very limpid... Like the look!

Not much smell except some very faint malty odor. The smell is very faint. Taste is similar, very little taste of malt. I would classify the taste as pretty simple nothing complex. Mouthfeel is tin and this beer is more like a macro than a micro IMO. Not bad, but not awesome too!

Carbonation is very present in mouth which might annoy some people.

New label, big bad black wolf on a blood red background, badass artwork.

Pours a medium amberish brown, good head but dissipates quickly, no lace. Lively carbonation. Aroma of iodine and carbonation, a bit of wet carboard and some malt.

Flavor is quite like the aroma, un-apealing and overcarbonated. Not a awful beer, it just taste like a craft beer trying to be a bad macro-brew-craft knock off.

Purchased Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Depanneur Peluso in Montreal. Drank Wednesday, August 20, 2008.

Orange, copper pour with a little bit of bubbly head and no lacing. Smells of sweet malt and hops, tastes the same but ends rather bitter with a tinge of alcohol burn. A lot of carbonation feel to this beer. An almost decent beer, was worth trying at $1.99 Canadian. I wasn't expecting much from this beer, so not disappointed.

On tap at the Mondial de la Biere in Montreal.

A-amber brown color. Somewhat cloudy

S-Nice smell, lively, malty.

T-Not bad beer. Pretty hoppy.

M-medium

D-Not bad but not something I would go back to again and again. Quebec has several breweries that do this better.

Botle nothced as brewed in November or December.

A- This beer has a nice head that lasts and a great dark amber colour, but was ruined by having large chunks of sediment floating in it, even before I pour in the bottom of the bottle. Even bottle conditioned beers don't have this kind of muck floating in them.

S- Slight burnt caramel. A bit dusty from carbonation.

T- Weak flavour. Hops, dust. Some malt and caramel flabourn that intensify as the beer warms. However alcohol taste starts to show too much as it warms.

MF- Not too watery but nothing special. Average all the way.

D- Something a bit off, doesn't make me want to have any more after I am 3/4 of the way through the beer. It catches in my throat. I suspect the bottle is getting a bit old.

Bottle – Poured out a light brown brew with almost no head. Carbonation is quite weak with average body. Taste is sweet with some good mix of malts and hops. Aftertaste is almost non-existent. Overall, this an average ale that resemble a bit too much some the ales that macro produce these days.
