Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Mild aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange citrus and hints of tropical fruit. Flavor quite different with biscuit malt with only a hint of caramel, citrus hops with slight dankness, lemon citrus. Finishes with residual biscuit malt and lingering lemon citrus hops. Medium bodied with a nice creaminess. A nicely made pale ale that leans in the direction of a robust British bitter in the malt body, but with distinctly American hops (apparently Centennial). Nice, but not too complex, lemony citrus flavor to the hops. The body shows evidence of oats, giving it a very nice mouth feel. I'd like to see this more often in pale ales. A clean, easy to drink biscuity pale ale.
