500 mL bottle. Hazy yellow body. Smell is odd. Kinda like a pickle aroma. Honey. A bit acidic. Taste is equally unimpressive. Still has a pickle flavor. Light tartness. Lots of wheat and mineral saltiness. Light body. Blah.

Honestly not getting all the hate behind this one (unless there was an inconsistency in the quality of bottles put out). Very crisp and pleasant mouthfeel, light and slightly tart. Well balanced salt and slight honey undertones. One of the better gose that I've had, and super refreshing to match!

Picked up at the farmers market. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice crystal clear honey hue with a thin head that fades quickly to leave a creamy halo .
S - Aromas of light lemons, nice honey. Rather yeasty, quite mineral heavy. Oats are faint, decent salt level.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, light lemons. Rather phenolic, light honey, faint tartness. Not overly acidic, really yeasty, the oats bring a heavy bready quality.
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, overly so.
O - Overall this was a really underwhelming gose. Flemmy, yeasty, overly carbonated...just sub par.

Light fizzy head disappears instantly, slight hazy honey golden color.
Nose big yeasty, raw bread dough, raw bakers yeast, sour lemony funk, little acidic lacto like funk, some minerals, little vanilla cake which is maybe oats, little sweet honey.
Taste weird mineral think, effervescent carbonation flavor like a bitter hydrogen peroxide flavor, plenty more minerals and chalk, little yeasty raw bread dough, tart lemony sour funk but phenolic nasty funk, a bit of lemon peel dragged through the baseball diamond chalk and thrown into flaming garbage. A little bread dough from oats, perhaps honey picked from the ground.
Mouth is med lighter bod flemmy sticky creamy tart mild acidic tons of carb.
Overall horrible.

On tap poured into a 12 oz. tulip. This one isn't as sour as Kent Falls' other Goses and the honey is very subtle but it's an outstanding beer. Definitely worth a try if you're a fan of the style.
