375 mL bottle. This one didn't gush. Darker orange than the normal Coffeemaker. Smaller head and clearer. Smell has coffee and a little bit of bourbon. Brett is secondary and I get almost no IPA at all. Tastes just as sharp and definitely a little tart. Coffee, acidic brett, a faint bit of the grapefruit hops. Bourbon and oak aren't that intense, but dulls the sharpness and lends a richness. Medium carbonation. Definite improvement over the base, even if it has the same flavor profile.

On tap poured into a 12 oz. tulip. This one is about as complex as you'd expect from a bourbon barrel IPA with coffee and brett. The combination is a little too much for me but the barrel character helps to smooth out the base beer a bit. I prefer this one to the original Coffeemaker but it's certainly not one of KF's best offerings in my opinion.
