Mixed fermentation farmhouse ale brewed with prickly pear. Brewed with our friends at Proclomation Ale Co in RI this beer has a sweetness remiscent of strawberry and watermelon balanced with a light acidity from the base beer.

500 mL bottle. Clear yellow body. Smells of prickly pear. A little lemon. Some wheat. Tastes of prickly pear as well. Light lemon lime tartness. Wheat and a bit of yeast esters in the finish. A bit of bitterness. Light body. Well carbonated. Not the most flavorful, but not bad all around.

On tap at Engine Room in Mystic. Gold body, fairly clear, nice fluffy head.
Sour aroma, bit of fruit like pear and apple, bit of honey sweetness. Flavor has a little bit of tart to start it off, bit of grain husk and white bread sweetness, prominent prickly pear cactus flavor, very fruity. Clean finish.
Nice beer from Kent Falls, not blown away. Really liked the authentic flavors of the prickly pear but the beer was not as soured as I hoped.
