Orchard Noire is a blend of two barrel aged stouts that come together to form a beer rich in body and roast, rounded out by a warming cartelized apple character reminiscent of the spirit barrels it has been aged in.

500 mL bottle. Black with an ample khaki head. Smells of candied apples and roasted malt. Tastes a little sharp. Roasted malt and apple are both bright flavors. A little chocolate, but also bitter with a strong alcohol flavor. Medium body. High carbonation that is a little distracting. Good stout with an interesting apple component, although the finish is a bit unpleasant.
