A feature element of this beer is the buddhas hand grown locally by our friends at Maywood Gardens in Bridgewater, CT. The beer was designed around highlighting the intense lemon character of the zest from this fruit. As an innovative offering from a greenhouse in the northeast, only two were available for our use. The result is a light citric character offering a refreshing edge to a beautifully delicate body produced by the addition of oats, wheat and lactose.

16 oz. can. Murky orange body. Smells of orange juice and a zesty acidic component. Sweet pale malt and tropical fruit behind it. Taste has a lot of that citrus zing. Tingly lemon and orange combination. Sweet pale malt. Galaxy hop tropical fruit seems disconnected from the citrus flavor. Medium body with a little bitterness. I feel like without the fruit addition, this would be an overly sweet IPA, but the fruit gives it a good zip and tang that elevates it.
