This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and a good bit of lacing.

This smells like peppery and spicy hops, a bit of breadiness, and some earthiness.

Somewhat quietly Kent Falls has a really solid lager program. This feels right for a helles, as the dominant flavor is a doughy and slightly earthy breadiness. There's a little bit of spicy hop character, but that soft breadiness is the star.

This is very light bodied, with a light sweetness and a killer crispness on the back end. It demands to be drunk in larger quantities.

This hits a lot of buttons for me.

Acquired a can of People Power in a trade. Fortunately I had read the small print along the seam to discover this was a Helles Lager rather than the usual IPA that I had initially expected. It's great to see that a smaller brewer would devote the time and effort to produce this classic style but Kent Falls did so and the result was very successful. Hopefully this is not a seasonal but an addition to their regular brand portfolio as it's seemingly a product for any season. Wish I had acquired more than one can but I'll be hopefully looking for a larger amount on my next trip to CT.

Poured from a 16oz can dated 9/28/18 into a Pilsener glass.
What a beautiful beer! Initial burst of bubbles rise in the clear golden liquid to a puffy thick head. Serioulsy, this looks like a beer comercial that took days to film just right. Spyder lacing lasts for the entire glass. Tiny bubbles rise for the entire session also, just not as much as at the initial pour.
Peppery bread aroma is dominanent, but there is a background of sweetness.
The taste is peppery also, fades to mild bitterness and really dry finish.
The body is light, carbonation a little high, but I like that.
Excellent example of a Helles.
