Canned September, 2020 and poured into a pint glass.
Appearance is a bright mostly translucent light amber color. Roughly an inch of fairly dense head. As the head faded, it left behind a thin layer that behaved as if it would hang around for a long time, but I could wait no longer to taste it.
Aroma is bread & malt, and very nice. Blind, I would have guessed this was a Suarez beer. On the tongue this is a really nice balance of malts & hops. Smooth, yet just the right amount of bitterness. Nice amount of carbonation. For me, this is very well done for the style, and very drinkable.

Note: This is a triple decocted Czech Pale lager with a wonderful hoppy quality. Euro Pale is unsuitable due to technique, and Kellerbier, although more aligned flavor-wise, is German. So to emphasize the tradition and thoughtfulness behind this beer Czech Pils it is although not as bitter.

Why should you care?
Endeavor is a unique variety of barley that KF has pursued for the past three years deepening their support of local agriculture and heirloom grains.
No packaging concerns, faint haze, little lower srm than medium amber, resilient head for a can!
Aroma: Toasted malt forward. Apple honey, rosemary, brown bread crust, mashed fresh Italian herbs, grain husks, rustic and characterful.
Palate: Richness but still clean and med- body, think Monchshof keller. Honestly something special. Distinctive green herbal, not extra spicy, hop bite on the finish.
Impressions: First rate American brew right here! If there wasn't that dash of 'rusticity' it could be from Notch or Bierstadt. Endeavor barley works a little bit better here for me than in Yeesh, as the rustic honey quality is more integrated. I hope they continue to brew this as it satisfies my desire for something crushable but with a complex malt character.
