Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my Gaffel stange. Date stamped with canned 9/03/2024. Picked up at local beer shop.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with many active streams of carbonation rising to the surface. A fluffy bleached white of about 1.5 cm foams up from the pour. This foam fades to nothing soon after I stop pouring and no edging or lacing shows up in my glass during the sampling.
Aroma is some biscuit and a bit of lemon mixing with hints of grass in the background. overall the nose is pretty mild, but is pretty on point.
First sip reveals a light body with smooth texture and very fine and tingly carbonation. Beer drinks very easy , as it should.
Flavor is some white bready malt a bit of lemon and honey and then some grassy and black tea hop notes. Finishes pretty dry across my palate. This is a pretty good example of the style and I could easily drink many of these, good news, I have 3 more downstairs!
Nice Connecticut brewed beer.
