Surroundings 3 is a blend of 8-10 month old spontaneously fermented beer pulled from oak and re-fermented on raspberries in stainless steel for an additional 3 months. The Endeavor barley used to produce the wort and raspberries both come from Mosher Farm in Bouckville, NY. This is the first beer we have made with raspberries and love the clear impact raspberry seeds have on the character of the beer, evidence of using whole fruit.
