Appearance: Clear, dark copper body with a small, off-white head.
Smell: Meek aroma of spicy, grainy rye.
Taste: Touch of dry maltiness that doesn't really deliver any sweetness. Vague rye hints. Crisp, clean hop bitterness. Touch of acidity. Finishes grainy.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I didn't care for this one at all. By far my least favorite of the Olde Auburn roster.

A Clear brown with a nice persistent head.
S Malty with the rye noticeable. The hops are pronounced.
T - Somewhat sweet and the rye is present but subtle.
M Thin and carbonated.
D Smooth and well balanced, and while I think this beer is a bit too watery, it makes for a good drinking brew.

Garnet in appearance, small head with little retention. Aroma is fairly subdued, I was expecting more rye character. Instead I get a good bit of malt, with a touch of rye "sharpness," if that's the way to describe it. Taste is surprising, considering I was told by waitress it was "kind of like an IPA." I was expecting something like a He'brew's Lenny Bruce Double RyePA, but this is more like a brown ale with rye added. It's still good, just not what I was expecting. Well-balanced with a good amount of E.K. Goldings, but certainly not at IPA levels. Mouthfeel and drinkability are good.
