I don't know why this beer is listed as a Hefeweizen. It's a saison.

The beer is amber colored with a haze from the yeast. I can smell something. It's a dry smell, not quite like hops, but something else. There is a good crisp taste with hop bitterness. A little spicy. Easy on the mouth and easy to drink.

Bottle: Poured a hazy beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma consists of spicy wheat malt with light hoppy kick. Taste is dominated by mildly sweet wheat malt backbone with some peppery notes and sharp hoppy finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Very refreshing with nice level of complexity than your standard German weizen.

From notes

Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/yellow color to it. It has a nice thick white head that dies down moderately and leaves some lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of yeast, banana, cloves, pepper and wheat malts. Very nice.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some yeast, bananas, cloves, faint pepper, wheat, grassy hops and a touch of lemon.

Mouthfeel: It has a med/high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
