Bottle: Poured a clear deep brown color ale with a nice white foamy head. Aroma of strong smoky flavours leaves little space for hops aroma. Taste is a hard to drink mix of strong maple smoky flavours with light dry hoppy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. I usually am fond of smoked beers but the mix of hops and maple smoke didn’t work at all in this beer.
