It's in the alley behind Thirsty Dog so I stopped in after visiting TD. The place has the feel of an unfinished basement, lots of concrete, some scattered furniture, games, utilities. I sat down at the bar and ordered a coffee stout. The bartender seemed decently friendly. Unfortunately the beer was terrible. Lots of off-flavors, tart, metallic, just unprofessional. It was basically a failed homebrew that should not be served to the public. I cuoldn't finish it and it turned me off to trying their other beers, so I left and won't be back unless I hear they've gotten a brewer who knows what they're doing.

Stopped here after Thirsty Dog as they share the same building. Upon entering, I was excited as it looked like a cool little spot. A lot of high 9-12% ABV beers, though, in the middle of summer which I found a bit weird. Decided to try a flight, all of which served on the warmer side of the spectrum. Each beer in the flight was borderline undrinkable, unfortunately. Muddled flavors, harsh alcohol notes and bad recipe formulation IMO. The IPA had soapy flavor notes and the Charon Coffee Cherry Stout may be one of the worst beers I have ever had. I couldn't drink it. Also had the imperial red and their pale ale, the best of the worst.
I personally would not recommend this place at all. The beer tastes like poorly made homebrew, to be blunt. Hopefully the brewer can improve their process/recipes/sanitation and improve the product in the future.

On the other side of the wall of Thirsty Dog's production facility, Aqueduct is essentially in an old school garage in this large, classic brick building. With an open mic, goofy regular patrons and family members, children, and free popcorn, you get a very unique crowd, and an unusual intimacy with the owners and all of their goings on.
Despite the location, the brews couldn't be any more different than their neighbor's. I think they are using plastic tanks or lines, or else not cleaning them, because all of their brews have an odd, plastic flavor to them. When they first opened, I thought I liked them, but then they just rubbed me more and more the wrong way.

Cool little Nano. Just what I would expect with a small start up. I was the only one there at the time of my visit, so I had a little "one on one" time with the owner. He was very eager to share his experiences. I wish him the best of luck.

6 taps, garage /industrial atmosphere but warm and cozy. Small and fun.
