Copenhagen 13/10 29018. 33 cl bottle from Brønshøj Vinhandel. Drawing of Triumphant Hop Cone with a sign saying Zeit für Gutes Bier on the label.
Pours hazy orange with medium-sized head. Small fragments of yeast whirling around. Settles as paper thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is of lightly fermented exotic fruit with strong notes of citric Grape fruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet balanced by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter with a lighter sweet undercurrent.
Well balanced APA. Would have expected a bit more bitterness when I see a triumphant Hop cone on the label.

Pours a deep orange coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit. Taste follows the nose, with a hoppy tropical fruit taste of mango, passion fruit and a hint of grapefruit, with just a hint of biscuity malt. Light, pleasant bitterness. Body is a bit thin and watery, but this is still a pretty decent Pale Ale.

Hazy goldenrod with loose froth. 3.75
Honey graham and orange rind nose. 3.75
Husky grain, then lemon rind, resin, and earth hops. 3.75
Caramel comeback and papery linger.
Light, dry, slight oil. 4
Chinook, Citra, Centennial.
Just under 3 months in the bottle. Overplays the pils malt - all sorts of cracker and toast. Lean and pithy, misses out on all the juiciness of these hops; heavier than 35 IBUs. Aims for American but overshoots the mark. 3.5
