Copenhagen 18/8 2018. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers Webshop. Drawing of Paranoid-looking Lemur on the label.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of frothy foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fruity and fairly intense. Strong citric juice. Sweet exotic fruit. Peach, mango. Resin. Strong citric odor of Grape fruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery yet soft texture. Quite lively.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by lighter citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
Nice NEIPA from the sweet side of the road.

Pours yellow with a decent head that slowly disapates. The nose has citrus and hops, with a tad too much malt for a NEIPA. The taste has nothing to do with the style. It's muted, malt heady and is also fizzy and slightly tart.
This is an ale. That's it. Not horrible but nothing to write home about.

Draft. Pours a murky amber color with nearly no head.
Smells of unripe banana, grass, mango and oranges with just a light malt sweetness to it.
Has an unusual low carbonation, which makes the beer appear a little boring on the palate, too still for its lighter body.
Tastes of an aqueous softness, crackers and slowly unfolding fruit defined hops. This provides a tropical flavor profile, lots of lemons getting enriched by luscious mango and passionfruit, which produces a light, lasting dryness. The fruits turn sweeter, maltier, weakened by the low, slightly watery mouthfeel, finishing monotonous yet balanced.
If it wasn‘t for the mouthfeel, this could be great. A little bolder, fuller and this would be hitting all the right buttons.

The second beer at Brickmakers to go with a huge BBQ plate for lunch. Amazing looks, amazing haziness like peach juice! Subtle hoppiness in the nose and despite the intensity of the taste and the raw hops, feels quite fresh and very easy to drink. This - maybe just like every other NEIPA - is like raw hop juice, and this character is what I love about it. Raw, hoppy, resiny, earthy, piney, slightly bitter and slightly sour. For me an A class NEIPA!

Pours a dull, dark orange coloration with a small, creamy, off-white head. Smells of hops, tropical and citrus fruits and a little pine. Taste is very hoppy, with a little bit of caramelly malt coming through as well. Flavour is dominated by a juicy citrus fruitiness (grapefruit, orange) with a lighter touch of tropical fruits (mango, passion fruit). There are also some subtle bubblegum and pine notes. Bitterness is rather light.

Really hazy bright peach color with off-white head. Aroma is really hoppy with zesty citrus, grass but also a solid grainy malt backbone. Taste follows with the grainy malt but also fresh hops. Grassy, fruity with some juicy bubblegum notes and light bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body, quite dry and well carbonated. Quite nice NE style IPA but it could use some improvement on the mouthfeel.
