This has been made for a local hamburger joint in Vienna, AT - On Nom. A helles brewed by a craft brewery, what we know about it is that it does bring its staple German hops (Hallertauer and Tettnanger) and although the hops are very nice and bitter, the beer doesn’t really feel like a helles - or at least it is different. What is missing? the carbonation? the crisp taste? the light body? Dunno. This was more like a craft ale take on a German helles, smooth and different. Not bad per se but not really what I was expecting.
