I've been there before, many times. Situated in downtown Saint-Hyacinthe on Cascade street.
It is one of the popular bar,pub in this town.
A lots of students, and thuesday night usually get crowded. The decoration is ok, very pub*
with a wood bar, chairs and tables.
Even if it's a popular bar, the beer doesnt seems to get better with years. They usually have a blond, brown, porter, amber and cider, and scotch ale. The selection they have on tap is ok. But, the beers crafted here, are not very exciting. I'm not an expert, but I think whats I dont like about their brews, is possibly the use of dry yeast. It gives the beer a very light body, very small carbonation and weird taste.
There is also an ok selections of bottles, for exemple unibroue's products and some others macro canadians brews. In addition to that, they sells some euro product such as Guinness, and Duvel, but I,m not sure aout this one..
The service is good, even if they don't really seems to know very well about beer, they are friendly and efficient.
It dont think they have food here, but in the area theres plenty of restaurant close to the pub.
I don't want to offend nobody, but I think their homebrew are a little bit pricey for the quality they offer here. Look for special offer of the day. Pint is 1$ off of the pint.
Maybe not the best beer here but they have the best babyfoot table in town!
