Poured from the 330mL bottle into a branded tulip glass in Kigali, Rwanda. The beer is a dark gold color with lots of carbonation, topped with a 2 liner foamy head. A nice looking beer.
S: Grain, slight lemon, some spiciness, sweet.
T: Earthy bitterness, grain, slight vegetal note, lemon. Spice in the middle. Finishes with a touch of soap and and earthy bitterness that lingers.
Overall: Not my favorite beer in Rwanda. Not terrible, and slightly stronger than the norm here. I tend to avoid these. The mist is better out of this brewer's offerings, and in terms of pale beers many of the others are better, or at least similar for cheaper.
