Beautiful color, with a bit of a purple tint. Lacks the creaminess that you want in a Stout...just feels a little thin on the tongue. Zero head, but to be expected in a Nitro. It's fine, but forgettable.

Can: Poured a black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with light dry notes is quite nice. Taste is a good mic of roasted malt with some light dry bitter notes with subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable for the style and plenty of flavours for a low ABV beer.

Tasted this beer twice. Great stout indeed. This is what I expect of this type of beer. Coffee and cocoa tastes blended with burnt aromas of cereals...
Great black robe and a little head that stands throughout the whole pint.
Smells just like the coffee alley of the grocery store.
Not a hint of bitterness and a mouthfull of coffee and chocolate taste. In fact, they even give you a piece of chocolate with it and it's a good combo if you ask me.
Good carbonation and great aftertaste.
One of the good stout I've tasted. If I was to compare with a Guiness, I enjoy this one most.
Hint : Go there on saturdays as they knock off 5$ on the 2 litres jug.

Appearance: Very dark black, with a nice, thick head, as true to the style as it will ever be. And served with a piece of chocolate no less!
Smell: Grainy, and totally oatmeal, very reminiscent of St-Ambroise oatmeal stout.
Taste: Coffee, but not too overpowering, the malty thickness feels creamy and goes down wickedly well. A little chocolate in there too, but then again, nothing that really stands out. Subtlety and balance are what this Beer is all about.
