St-Do is the nickname for the street where the brewpub is, known for all the bars and a general party atmosphere, so why use this name for their all bio Beer is beyond me.
Appearance: Slightly opaque, almost greenish blonde with tiny bubbles rising from the bottom of the pint to the thin head on top.
Smell: Green apple like a cider, quite fruity with a strange smell that I could only associate with Flinstones chewable vitamins.
Taste: Hops come out a little harsh and throw the balance way off on this one, and it sticks to the aftertaste with a very vegetal flavor and it got pretty annoying. Body was way too light as well. Tasted like a botched batch of homebrew.
I've tasted good bio Beers before, this one was just sub-par. I don't think it's the brewer who is to blame for this, it's probably his supply of grain or hops that makes me want to say hurray for pesticides.
