A: Very nice copper color, fully translucent. Very nice pure white head with good volume, retention and lacing.

S: One of the few IPA's (except for the Ile-de-Grace) I had that had such low malt or any form of sweets in this. Very dry smell of grapefruit, pine resin, orange zest and light floral hops. Wonderful bouquet but could need a little more focus in the hops. It's good, it's strong but it's everywhere at the same time.

T: Read above. Really all about the hops: it tasted VERY fresh.

M: Medium body with medium carbonation. Fits really nicely the beer. Very refreshing.

D: Refreshing beer. It is dry, it is not too strong tasting, but like I said, it could benefit from a little more focus in the hops.

On tap at the brepub. Comes with a good cover of off-white head over a hazy copper body. Some lacing. Looks alright.

Definitely smells like an IPA. Lots of of citrus rind, marijuana, earthy hops and caramel.

The tast is the same: citrus rind, some earthy hemp-like hops and caramel malt. Not too complex but quite tasty. English-style but with more hops than you would usually find. Maybe the slightest hint of diacetyl, but it's not distracting here. I'd like to taste a little more malt here, it's a touch on the light side, with the hops being a bit overpowering.

Great feel. Substantial medium body and moderate carbonation.

I'm surprised, I don't remember this one being so good. It had been a couple years since I had it last. Not outstanding but very drinkable and probably one of the better Canadian single IPAs I've had.

A-Copper with a thin off-white head. Left spotty lacing behind.

S-Nice floral hop aroma. Very fresh smelling.

T-Floral/citrus hops bursting forth. I am sure this is dry-hopped. Malt character a bit lacking.

M-Light bodied and thin. The only big knock with this one.

D-Good fresh hop taste counterbalances the lack of body. Easy to drink and pleasant.

One of the best IPA I had so far. Dark amber color, with a head that slowly let itself run on the glass. I didnt feel a fruity taste, but buttery yes, it didnt have that usual IPA taste, it first hit you then dissapeared quite early like you never had it before. Rought is also typical of that beer I must agree, made me feel like a good ole man's beer, I did liked it alot!

This IPA was a dark orange/amber colour with a nice head that left some slight lacing on my glass. This IPA had an extremely fruity aroma with some nice citric hops, and buttery malts in the mix as well. I think that this IPA is brewed with ringwood yeast, as it is very reminiscent of Blind Faith IPA from Magic Hat. The taste is fruity and buttery with the hops up front and the malts in the middle. The finish is rough and dirty with a nice dose of sweet hops and malts. This was a good beer, and a very strange one as well. Try it if you get the chance.
