This is described by the brewery as a pre-prohibition lager.
On tap at the brewery and served in standard pint. The beer is gold with good clarity.
It has a nice nose of grains and floral hops.
The taste is balanced between sweet cracker like malts, some pepper and floral notes from the hops.
The mouth is sturdy but for me a bit under carbonated. That is the only minor flaw in the beer.
This is a great beer to pair with food as it is complimentary not combative.
