I had the Zeta Ancho Chile Chocolate Porter on cask from a firkin at the Brewpub. It was served in a shaker, the beer is dark brown with a frothy brown head.
It has a nose of coco and roasted malts.
The taste leads with chocolate, a medium roast from the malts and some dark fruit. The chilies add just a whisper of heat.
The mouth is incredibly smooth with low carbonation.
Zeta hit a home run on this one as I'm more of a fan of light chili heat than an over the top version. Well done!
