Pretty copper color with an off-white head that sticks around. This is kind of an unusual beer to me. The malt flavors are consistent with an American amber but it doesn't have that ester-y/fruity component that I don't always appreciate in an Amber (yes, I'm looking at you, St Arnolds!). So given that, it sounds like I'm describing a Maerzen-type lager, right? But it doesn't really taste German so that can't be completely accurate either. Whatever style you want put this in, it is a delicious beer that I could drink over and over. Judged by this and a couple of other beers I've had from Huff, It is obvious that this brewer really cares about making quality beer and has the ability to do it. Looking forward to wider distribution!
