This is truly a gem of a beer from a wonderful little brewery in rural central Texas. If you are in the area, take the dirt road for a visit on a Friday night!
The beer is gorgeous pouring a deep dark brown with a creamy brown head and excellent curtain lacing. Fragrant dark roasted smell and taste. Dark chocolate, dark berries, and toasted almond notes. The feel is creamy smooth. This beer is a real pleasure to drink and I will make a habit of getting crowlers when I make my way down the dirt road. (If you go, watch the cows. Seriously!)
