This German style Munich lager is our go-to beer. It's everything we wanted it to be. Brewed using traditional German brewing techniques, this Helles lager displays a crisp dry finish, paired with a subtle malt profile.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned May 20/25. My 9th beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and 7th for 2025. Ridiculously embraced by Sundae the cat...

Poured from a 473ml can
Pale gold and crystal clear, with noticeable carbonation and white head. Retention was low, but could be the glassware.
The nose is full of cereal and cracker. A stewed-tomato tinge of DMS presents itself underneath, but nothing drastic.
Cereal notes continue on the palate, as well as white bread crust, buoyed by a light malt sweetness. Very little hop presence, slightly earthy if anything. The alcohol does come out a little at the end.
Medium bodied, the finish is not as dry as a pilsner, but is fairly clean. The mild bitterness lingers only a little while afterwards. Aftertaste brings back the bready notes from the malt. Quite refreshing.
