12oz undated can.
Pours hazy gold with a half inch head of white. Moderate retention and fairly good lacing. Grapefruit, candied orange, and hard peaches in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, tacky and almost chewy mouthfeel. Sugar-dusted grapefruit with shades of Grand Marnier and citrus pith on the palate. Some sweet malt follows through along with some throat warmth and a firm bitterness. Finishes a bit sweet and malty.
Tasty but a bit on the sweet and malty side (by today standards).

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a tulip stemmed glass. Beautiful opaque orange color with a thick head that stays put, creating nice lacing as you drink. Sweet citrus aroma. The first swig gives you the citrus taste along with some bitterness and a bit of the alcoholic burn at the finish, announcing the 9.3 abv. Overall a very good DIPA from a brewery that has stepped up it's game over the past year.

Dark golden orange in color. Fairly hazy in appearance. Orange, melon, unripe mango and candied papaya. Cracker malt profile. Not overly sweet. Nicely balanced. Not too bitter. Medium to light bodied. Smooth, dry finish. Good stuff.
