Garnet takes its inspiration from Vermont's state gemstone, the Grossular Garnet. This amber ale uses a spicy saison yeast and a strong malt structure to highlight bold, spicy hop flavors from local hops accentuated with a hint of New Zealand varieties. The result is a quaffable, hop-forward amber well suited to the turn of the season to warmer days and vanishing snowbanks.

Solid beer. Interesting start and finish; okay in the middle. Would buy again, but would probably not actively seek it out.

on draft at the brewery tasting room. dark red in color, pleasant hop aroma and caramel malt flavors. overall a nice hoppy amber, my favorite of the beers had at the brewery
