This kettle soured wild ale is fruited with Strawberries, uses local hops, and is soured with native lactobacilli. 5.9%abv
Party Jamz is our series of kettle sours with fruitz and local hops. We add just enough fruit to evoke said fruit flavor, but hold back just enough to allow the complex fruitiness of our native mixed culture fermentation to come through. These beers are balanced with an upfront fruit flavor, followed by a gentle tart and hoppy background. These are beerz everyone can get down with.

16oz can. No dating information found. Gold colored can.
Rapid pour results in a three finger egg shell white head, which quickly dissipates to a lumpy cap. Body color is a reddish pale amber. Leaves behind extensive spotting of lacing.
Aroma is strawberry fruity and lactose sweet. Has a sour note.
Taste expresses quite sour, and it takes a bit for the semi-sweet strawberry fruit to manifest. Lactose arrives late. The floral hops make a brief appearance but are not a major feature. The fruit trails off quickly in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Sourness produces a moderate level of tooth scraping. Good carbonation.
Lacks complexity (because it's a kettle sour) but does deliver on the sourness, and the strawberry fruit stays away from being medicinal.

Canned 9/10/21. "Nothing is real" stamped on the can. Agreed
Well, it sure has been a while since I've had a beer in the Party Jam series. I was picking them up regularly for a while this past summer, but I've kinda forgotten about them. I'm not sure why, they're fun beers. Regardless, we have the strawberry variant tonight, a fruit you don't often see in beer. Let's crack it open
Pours a cloudy dark orange with 2 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves nice lacing
As expected for the series, the nose on this one gives off the funk only usually found in spontaneous wild ales. I'm picking up on aromas of old leather, lemon rind, wet hay, juicy strawberry, white pepper, bready malt, and light oak
The strawberry comes through surprisingly strong in taste, they're usually quite the subtle fruit. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting juicy strawberry, tart lemon juice, sharp oak, crackery malt, and a touch of white pepper. The swallow brings notes of super bright strawberry, tart lemon juice, crackery malt, tart raspberry, leather, and light hay
A light medium body pairs with moderate tingling carbonation, resulting in a tart and zippy beer. Finishes a tad sticky but nothing overbearing
Man, this one is up there with the apricot variant, nearly competing for the best. So easy to throw back, yet nice enough to sit down and enjoy thoroughly
