New England Style Sour Double India Pale Ale with wheat and oats. Notes of tropical citrus and stone fruit. All local hops (Rakau and Teamaker) come from just down the road at Four Star Farms. Soured with native lactobacilli.

To love this beer you would have to enjoy vinegar. Although its not the major claim of the flavor profile the way HT would describe it, its the dominant flavor. That said, I enjoyed it, almost to the end.

Pours a hazy pale yellow/orangish color with minimal white head which sticks around as a bubbly lacing. Fruity and tart on the nose with lemon, lime, more like a kettle-style sour. Taste is brilliant....juicy sweetness of tropical fruit especially grapefruit and citrus tartness of lime with some hops for balance. The taste includes a slight acidic bite. Brilliant sour IPA...if that's your thing.
