I am definitely bias, as this is my favorite beer of which I have had a lot in my time (44 years old as of this writing). Sometimes, depending on the batch, the strawberry can be stronger or the chocolate can come through more. It’s smooth. Where else can you get the taste of Neapolitan ice cream in a beer?

Growler filled 2/11/23
Continuing on with my journey of hitting up every brewery in RI, we have the smallest brewery in the smallest state. My buddy and I visited the brewery earlier and I was into the sample I had of this as a part of a flight, so I decided to bring home a crowler to properly review. Let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy medium brown with 2 fingers of light tan head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The strawberry is super present in the nose, but it’s not overly sweet somehow. I’m picking up on aromas of dried strawberry, vanilla, biscuity malt, milk chocolate, dark bread, and light toffee
It has an even lighter touch in taste, but still manages the adjuncts very well. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting milk chocolate, strawberry ice cream, dark bread, sweet cherry, vanilla, and light toffee. The swallow brings notes of strawberry ice cream, biscuity malt, cocoa powder, sweet vanilla, cherry, toffee, and a very light touch of citrusy hops
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes neutral with a nice sweetness
This is a very fun beer. The base being a Brown Ale is awesome as it keeps things light and balanced. I’ll definitely be coming back to this brewery

Poured from a 32oz growler that was filled at the brewery 8/8/15, into a US tumbler glass.
A: The beer is a deep brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains vanilla, strawberries, chocolate, caramelized malts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors of chocolate, strawberries and vanilla that rotate in and out of your palate. Then a hearty but not too heavy malt character comes in. There are some background flavors of maple and caramel. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good variation of style, this is a nice dessert type of beer to drink for a long time.
