Poured from a 32oz “crowler” can into a mug glass.
A: The beer is a deep brown color with a very large light brown head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong maple, chocolate and graham cracker along with roasted malts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste likewise starts out sweet with strong flavors of chocolate, maple and graham cracker. Then a hearty roasted malt character comes in. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium-to-heavy body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good variation of style, this is a solid dessert beer to drink for a while.
