Poured from a 32oz “crowler” can into a mug glass.
A: The beer is a dark gold color with a large white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains cinnamon, rice and light caramelized malts but overall is very much like cinnamon toast.
T: The taste likewise starts out with a strong and sweet cinnamon flavor that is quickly followed by some creaminess. Then some mild breadiness comes in from rice and a thin malt character. The hops presence is extremely mild which is a good thing for this beer and there is a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good variation of style, this is a solid dessert beer to drink for a while.
