Pours a black color. 1/2 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, and slight piney hops. Fits the style of an Irish Dry Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a distinct bitterness. Tastes of strong roasted malt, slight sweet malt, hint of coffee, and slight piney hops. Overall, overly roasted for an Irish, good appearance, and tasty.
