Kelsey Creek Brewing

Kelseyville was like a ghost town when we pulled in late on a Monday afternoon. But the brewery was open and there were people inside. The brewer's wife greeted us from behind the bar. We tried their whole varied tap lineup of 11 beers and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Of particular note was Kelsey Creek Funk, a barrel aged saison with mango labeled as a Belgian strong golden ale.
The brewer was originally from Santa Cruz and has a connection to Sainte Adarius.
This place is worth a stop if one is in the Clearlake area.
