Appearance - Pours a full 2 finger head, which dissipates to a thin film. Dark brown head, leaves a very full lacing. Opaque black.

Smell - Cherry ripe, coffee grounds, and a hint of roasted malt. Rich and velvety. Not much more than that - delicious enough up front.

Taste - I want to eat a Cherry Ripe now - a dark choc-cherry bomb, but made better with a hint of liquer zest, and a good warm roast aftertaste that fills the mouth like an espresso.

Mouthfeel - A bitey tingle on the tongue - pins and needles. Velvety and creamy, with slight oil and a rich body. Highly drinkable and just the right amount of fizz. Luxuriously decadent.

Overall - A big, rich, boozy, treat.
