Ella Wet Hop IPA.
Pours a clear golden colour, with little head which dissipates to a thin film. Light effervescence.
Toasty and malty on the nose up front, with a peppery hop spice. Floral, and a slight strawberry sweetness. Fairly subtle otherwise.
A sweet taste - plenty of alcohol up front. More of the light berry flavours in the mid body - strawberry, raspberry, lavender and honey. Fairly delicate and the sweetness outweighs the bitterness. Slight nettle finish.
Slight fizz on the tongue, slightly watery but good oil. A bit of cream when swirled and a good dry finish. Always drinkable and refreshing.
Overall an easy drinking IPA, with the bitterness balanced out by some delicate flavours and a bit of complexity. Slightly mineral and watered down however - not a huge IPA. Easy drinking despite the high ABV.
