Copenhagen 15/2 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can has a soft pattern resembling a layer cake in orange, red and dark brown. White Hags elegant logo with the interwoven orange”W” and white “H” in the center.

Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet and sugary odor mingling with sweet orange and a whiff of mint. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar, mint chocolate and blood orange.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, creamy, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a cool touch of mint. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and fruity.

Sweet but the fruit and mint lightens it a bit.

330ml can. Black with a red edge. Two fingers of mocha head collapses quickly but leaves spotty lacing. Smells exactly like Terry’s chocolate orange. Tastes strongly of bitter orange & milk chocolate. A background flavour of milky coffee helps balance the extraordinary sweetness. Rich and smooth mouthfeel. This is almost literally a Terry’s chocolate orange in a glass, but 5.5% ABV. Much too weird.
