Copenhagen 6/2 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pattern made of stacked colorful boxes in pink, yellow, light blue and white with White Hag's elegant logo with an intertwined gold W and a white H.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a stronger scent of citrus fruits. Peach, pineapple and mango. Citrus and grapefruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
More than decent NEIPA with a considerable bitter bite.

440ml can from SuperValu, Bundoran (€3):
Quite light yellow & hazy with a half cm, bubbly white head that holds better than you'd think. The nose is really fresh with juicy fruits, mango & passionfruit, tropical notes then pineapple to close. It's a bitter, pine & floral hop taste with mango & grapefruit showing alongside some citrus. It's juicy, very bitter & tangy with fine carbonation & a semi-sweet feel.

330 ml can, as The White Hag Magic Mist Juicy Pale Ale, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 5.0%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, a hint of spruce. The flavour is moderately citric, followed by notes of melon and tropical fruits. Low piney bitterness in the finish. Decent, but not exceptional.
