Copenhagen 29/1 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pattern in burgundy, red and orange with silhouettes of Christmas trees. White Hag’s cool logo with a inter-woven “W” and “H”.
Pours murky maroon with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with Christmas spices and sugary fumes. Sugared plums, cinnamon, ginger, honey. Light tart notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a spicy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite the Christmas spice bomb. Well made but too sweetly spicy for my taste buds.

Poured from can. Comes out very light red. Considering the promise of Christmas spice and honey, bit slightly underwhelms on nose. Taste is honey sweet with cinnamon and nutmeg. Not bad if a little saccharine and flat.
