Copenhagen 26/6 2023. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly roasted odor mingling with a sourish scent and earthy notes. Dark roasted malts, toffee and caramel, sour milk and peat. Dark alcohol and wood.!
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, fat, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Solid and wholesome Barrel Boozer.
